Doon Hill and the ruins of the Pirate Queen Grainne Mhaoil’s castle can be seen from the house and local attractions and activities include Connemara Smokehouse, and the local surfing beach at Dunlaughan. Ballyconneely offers two grocery stores, a bar and restaurant, a community centre and children’s playground. Roundstone Village and Clifden Town are within a 10-15 minute drive away. Local activities include fishing, pony trekking, golf, coastal walks, surfing, boat trips and much more. 3 Bedrooms – Sleeps 6. Bedroom 1 is a double bedroom with en-suite bathroom and electric shower. Bedroom 2 is a double bedroom and bedroom 3 is a twin bedroom with 2 single beds. All bedrooms have timber floors and are well furnished with wardrobes, chest of drawers and dressing tables.  The kitchen/dining areas are open plan and tiled. The dining area has a large table and seats six persons comfortably.  The modern kitchen has all necessary equipment including electric oven, gas hob, microwave, toaster, electric kettle, coffee maker, dishwasher and fridge freezer. The adjacent utility room houses the washing machine and tumble dryer.  The spacious living room features two bay windows, open fire, multi-channel TV, comfortable seating and wonderful views of Bunowen Castle and Doon Hill. The family bathroom includes a bath, a shower cubicle with electric shower, WC and sink. The cottage is surrounded by natural gardens and a pebble drive way. The house is centrally heated throughout and also has an open fire. Starter fuel is provided for the fire. Bed linen and towels are provided. Travel cot available. Short breaks available. Pets welcome by prior arrangement. Pets must sleep in utility area, are not allowed on furniture or in bedrooms and must remain on tiled areas of the house.  Electricity & Heating is included in rental price from 1 June to 30 September. Electricity and oil heating are extra and charged on usage by meter reading from 1 October – 31 May and costs are payable directly to the owner prior to departure.
